£3.5m deal with broadband provider, Trooli
Full-fibre broadband provider Trooli has announced a three-year partnership with Tunbridge Wells based creative agency Cheeky Communications.
The £3.5 million creative and media deal targeting homes in the South East will include a fully integrated campaign across OOH, TV, Radio as well as Digital, Social and Direct Marketing. The partnership is a huge boost for the two Kent based businesses and began with Cheeky successfully pitching for the name, brand identity and trial campaign for the new broadband provider. This campaign was named a finalist in two national awards within The Drum Out of Home category.
A subdivision of Call Flow, Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) broadband provider Trooli was established by ex-BT executive Andy Conibere, who wanted to solve the lack of investment into true fibre from the major operators. Rolled out in flagship towns Paddock Wood and King’s Hill (West Malling), Trooli delivers networks using FTTP technology to bring future-proof digital infrastructure to small towns that are usually among the last to benefit from access to fast broadband connections.
Cheeky Managing Director Max Borsa commented: “This is a significant win for us and helps cement our growing reputation as a heavyweight agency. It’s great to be partnering with such a creative thinking client too – the trial campaign was bold, innovative, and was rewarded as a finalist in two national award schemes. It confirms our belief that you don’t need to be in London to do challenging, creative and successful work.”
Andy Conibere, CEO of Trooli commented: “We were delighted with Cheeky’s great work in helping us select Trooli as our FTTP brand. Their subsequent leadership in developing the brand identity meant that consolidating the partnership with a new three year contract; was an easy decision to make.”
