When the home of the World Crazy Golf Championships asked us to produce a TV commercial for their 3-course complex in Hastings, we jumped at the chance. It was the perfect opportunity to use our partnership with Sky AdSmart to good effect.
Budget was tight so all our TV experience came in handy (as did our friends in the post houses of Soho). A spoof horror film was the favoured route, based on the universal truth that the windmill hole is the scariest part of any crazy golf course even with pirate ships and jungle totems featuring on other holes. A drone was put to good use to give cinematic, sweeping shots. We even managed to showcase some of the excellent food available which the agency chips and gravy aficionado declared to be “top notch”.
A little imagination, a willing client and a lot of goodwill can go a long way.
