Award-winning Fin-tech firm, Suits Me have chosen Cheeky to manage its advertising account, starting with a national TV campaign.

Suits Me is an alternative, award-winning banking solution established in 2015.

They offer an e-account with mobile banking app and a contactless debit card to people who are financially underserved. With a cash-back reward scheme, partnering with retailers like Argos, Asda, B&Q, Footlocker, Carpetright, Laithwaites and Pizza Express, Suits Me aims to offer an alternative account for people who don’t fit the profile of traditional high street banking customers.

Cheeky’s appointment comes after a three-way pitch. The win will see Cheeky manage the first major advertising campaign for Suits Me, who, since 2015, has grown to be a leader in alternative banking.

Matt McMinn, Growth and Business Director at Cheeky said, “Suits Me is a great brand. They are there for people who feel financially marginalised. Unlike many financial institutions, who either ignore or charge these consumers higher rates to use their services. Suits Me aims to make it easier for these people to open an account.”

McMinn continued, “We’re looking forward to helping Suits Me raise awareness and drive sign-ups with people who can really benefit from their offering.”

Diana Campbell, Director of Customer Acquisition at Suits Me commented, “Suits Me has ambitious growth plans and raising awareness and brand appreciation amongst our core audience is key to that growth.”

Campbell added, “With more fin-tech brands entering the market, it is important for any campaign to resonate with its audience in a clear and simple way, but also to have cut-through and memorability. Cheeky’s approach aligned with our own, with a media strategy focusing on ROI and a creative campaign which aims to deliver clarity of message and real stand-out.”
