Ladbrokes are over the moon Ron.

Cheeky worked alongside Ladbrokes and TLC Marketing on a promotional campaign with Powerleague to launch a nationwide five-a-side football tournament, Ladbrokes Players Cup, featuring 480 teams. Teams get the chance to use pitches for free at 10 Powerleague Clubs in London, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester, leading to a final in Birmingham. 

Matches will feature live music, screenings and celebrity appearances. Powerleague’s pitch cameras will capture moments on the pitch. There will be prizes awarded for the best moments, which Ladbrokes will be able to share on its social media.

Cheeky designed and developed the tournament sign-up site where team captains create their squad, invite team players by sharing a unique code and view their post-tournament stats in the interactive dashboard. 

The first weekend saw over 25% of the team spots filled, leaving our client at Ladbrokes “Thrilled”. Back of the net indeed.
